My Friend insist to invite her bf's children to my wedding

I hope the title isn't too mis-leading, but had a hard time phrasing...
It's more about asking rather the people of reddit consider this a good or bad etiquette.
My friend has a boyfriend she has been dating for a year. I am getting married next August, and she insist her boyfriend's children comes to my wedding. The children are 10 and 12, and she also offered to pay for their portion.
I politely declined the first time she asked, but she brought it up again in front of her boyfriend again a few days ago. I felt like I was put on the spot, and she insisted she will pay for them.
I don't think this is polite or good etiquette, and I am a bit annoyed with this persistence.
I guess my question here will be, some verification that this is sort of out of line in terms of proper wedding etiqutte on my friends part.. and how would you decline?? Any advice will be appreciated... thank you!

Hey guys! Thanks for reading.
So, lately I've been putting myself out there. As in, actually replying to grindr and OKCupid messages and agreeing to dates - for someone who came out of the closet to not do anything about it, it's a pretty big deal that I can go out with guys and enjoy it.
Thing is, I don't know if I am doing it correctly, because it seems guys fall off the face of the Earth with me, unless it turns out I am just not date material =(
First time, great guy, I thought we connected pretty well, had a first date - coffee and a movie. I texted him afterwards a couple of times, even managed to get a second date, but afterwards he just disappeared.
Second time guy was nice, he even invited me to his apartment - we ended up watching a movie, but he said he felt too tired so I left. Never contacted me again.
Same pattern several times: I'd go out with a guy once, maybe twice, but it seems I have to be the one to keep the contact - like it falls on my shoulders to set up the possible dates/activities/etc.
I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much when I'm with them, and they are not interested? Or am I supposed to keep knocking the door every single time? I don't want to come off as clingy.
Just wondering. Any good word of advice?
Thanks!
